The Watch That Started It All

Rolex Datejust 41 ref. 126331.

Two Generations, Linked by Time

It all began when I was 10 years old—walking into a jewelry shop with my dad as he picked up a pair of earrings for my mom’s birthday. That’s when I saw it: a two-tone Rolex Datejust, 36mm in yellow gold, with diamond hour markers. I was captivated. From that moment, I knew that watch would be my personal milestone—a symbol that I had truly “made it” in life.

My dad and I shared a deep passion for watches, even though he could never afford his dream Rolex. His enthusiasm never faded. Over time, I developed a love for Breitling, while he remained loyal to Rolex.

I still remember my first Rolex—a Submariner I scored on eBay in 2017. Years later, I finally fulfilled my childhood dream with a two-tone rose gold Rolex with diamond markers. Just three months before my dad passed away, he achieved his own dream too: a two-tone 2003 Breitling Crosswind.

The world of watches is more than gears and dials—it’s stories, memories, and connections. Time & Tested is my tribute to my dad, who continues to live on through me. Every time I strap on a watch, I’m reminded of him.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Time keeps moving—and we keep putting it to the test.

Best, Ryan
